Job Description

Position:   Lead SAP Application Manager

Location:  Shanghai Head Office

Job Roles:

§        As a member of the regional SAP team, this person will be assigned the responsibility for one or more SAP modules.  This function will include, but is not limited to, implementation activities, maintenance, interfaces and training for their module.  Members of this team will also be responsible for backup and knowledge transfer to members of other regional SAP teams.
§        Formal and informal training will be provided based on the needs of the team.  Training needed to meet the personnel development plan specified in the P&D Dialog will be necessary.
§        Traveling to sites, meetings and training will be necessary as a part of this position on an as needed basis.
§        The skills needed for this position are a proficiency in configuration and processing in at least one core SAP functional areas (MM, SD, PP, FI, CO), ability to relate SAP processes to needed business processes along with training the new processes and proficiency in written and verbal English.

Qualification and Experience:

§        The educational requirement will be a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems or Business related major along with formal training by SAP or certified institution.  
§        A minimum of 4 years work experience in SAP will be necessary.
       
People Management:

§        As the lead member of the regional SAP team, this person will perform the administrative duties for the team.  This will include coordinate vacations schedules and outside training, approve expense reports and perform the P&D Dialog reviews.  
§        This person will resolve any issues between the members.  
§        This person will coordinate the project activities with the advice of the team.  
§        The added skills needed for this position will be basic managerial skills.  

Report To:

The Lead SAP Application Manager will report directly to the sBU Financial Controller, Wood Asia Pacific.  Functional oversight of this position will rest directly with the Business Unit Information Manager and indirectly with the Business Unit Global SAP Manager.
