Project Background
Maui is a project within the Cloud Infrastructure Group. CIG is tasked with EMC internal technology incubation and early productization. It currently has a US team based in Cambridge, MA and China teams based in Shanghai.
Job responsibilities
participate in and contribute to various features/components of the Maui product development and sustaining
work with US development, sustaining, customer support teams and the rest of the China team to participant in full cycle of product development including bug fixing
implement specific modules and functional blocks and become authoritative in certain areas
rapid response, trouble shooting and resolve customer’s technical issues independently
help developing world-class software by practicing good coding standards, and writing testable and maintainable codes
have a good overall understanding of the Maui product, both technical and business
help managers perform team building, and help train and coach the more junior level engineers
Requirements
Linux application development experience
C++ or C programming
Shell or Python
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skill
Customer engagement experience will be desired
Excellent communication skill in both Chinese and English
GUI design experience is a plus.
Java script is a plus.
